I just wanted to say we have welcomed a new blessing into our lives. A granddaughter Mckenna Mae born July 10,2010. I am now a Grandma to 2 granddaughters and a grandson. They live in New York. So I have never been able to meet them. I do get to send them things and chat with them. But I would just about give anything to see them. I know I will someday.:)
Families are like quilts.Lives pieced together stitched with smiles and tears sewn with memories, bound by love,to last throughout the years. I have this on a plaque on my wall and as our family has grown I find it to be so true.

first time at the movies
Today, I had decided to take the girls to the movie theater for the first time. Regal was having the free showing of Cloudy with a chance of meatballs. We got there early and find our seats. I have to say I was expecting to leave the movie early figuring Tarissa wouldn't sit quietly. Only to my surprise the were so quiet and love watching the movie. I didn't hear a peep. I was so proud of them. So I guess now they will want to go more often which is fine.

Camping
We went camping this past weekend. We had lots of fun. But of course it was nice to get home. Camping hasn't really changed since I was a kid and I think it is still Americas favorite pasttime. It was so quiet and pleasent just to be outside and listen to nature. We seen so much wildlife even a eagle that snatched a fish out of a lake. The kids had an awesome time and it gave them a chance to see some animals that they normally wouldn't see.
We all went fishing and Marissa caught 5 trouts to bad no one else did. LOL.She seems to really like to fish.
We seem some of Americas most beautiful wonders like several falls which after hiking to them were nice to to sit near and feel the mist of the falls against our faces.
